CRWN INFINITY

The CRWN Infinity is the top of the ladder here at 25,000 puffs — roughly double a 12,000-puff device like the EVOK Blaze or IGET One, and two and a half times the 10,000-puff Bar Pro. That makes it the lowest running cost per puff in the shop, and the only current device here that recharges over USB-C instead of being sized to run out on one battery.

The trade-off is commitment. 21 flavours is a decent menu, but a device this size means living with one of them for a long stretch. If you already know the profile you can vape all day, that is the whole point. If you like changing every week or two, buy shorter and rotate.

Shop by how much the name tells you. CRWN names much of this range after the blend rather than the fruit, which is the one genuine hurdle when you come across from IGET.

Names that describe themselves (7) — Passion Fruit Guava, Double Apple, Peach Cola, Kiwi Dragon Berry, Strawberry Bubblegum, Mango Smoothie and Grape Lemon. Start here if you want to know exactly what you are buying before committing to 25,000 puffs of it.

Mint (2) — Gum Mint and Peppermint Shake.

Named like a cocktail list (12) — Baghdad Nights, Diamond Dust, Don Juan, Funky Monkey, Habibilicious, Izmir Romantic, JK777, Lady Killer, Love 66, Malibu Bliss, Martino and The Duke. Nothing in these names points at a fruit, and we will not invent a tasting note to fill the gap. Buying your first Infinity? Take one from the group above. Happy to gamble on 25,000 puffs? This is the half worth exploring.

Does the CRWN Infinity recharge? Yes, over USB-C, and it needs to — no battery that size runs 25,000 puffs unassisted. It is the exception here: the IGET and EVOK devices are all sealed and pre-charged.

Is it the same as the CRWN Kit? No. The Kit was a battery plus replaceable pods and has been discontinued. The Infinity is a single sealed unit with nothing to pair and nothing to replace.

Infinity or a 12,000-puff device? Work out how long one device currently lasts you, then double it. If that number sounds good, buy the Infinity. If it sounds like a long time to spend on one flavour, the EVOK Blaze at 12,000 puffs is the better shape of buy.

We compared the two head to head in EVOK Blaze vs CRWN Infinity, and how puff-count ratings actually work is worth a read before you buy at this size. Prefer to stay shorter? See the EVOK Blaze or the IGET One. Still running a CRWN Kit battery? Pods are listed separately.
