CRWN KIT

The CRWN Kit is no longer sold here, and there is nothing on this page to order. It was a two-piece device: a small rechargeable battery you kept, plus a prefilled pod rated at 9,000 puffs from a list of 25 flavours. CRWN has retired the design, which is why this page is empty rather than waiting on a delivery.

Start from what you used it for. Two situations sent people to a Kit and they do not lead to the same replacement. One was wanting the cheapest way to keep a favourite flavour going at home. The other was wanting something small enough to live in a pocket all day and be topped up overnight.

Keeping a favourite going. The CRWN Infinity is the device CRWN built after the Kit: one sealed piece at 25,000 puffs over 21 flavours, topped up over USB-C. One of them outlasts the best part of three Kit pods, so the reordering you used to do every couple of weeks turns into something you barely think about.

A pocket device you top up. The Infinity covers this one too, since it charges — a flat battery mid-afternoon is a cable rather than a trip out. If you would rather not charge anything at all, the EVOK Blaze at 12,000 puffs over 16 flavours and the IGET Bar Pro at 10,000 puffs over 31 flavours are sealed: you use them and replace them, with nothing to plug in.

One device to take away with you. The IGET One runs 12,000 puffs across 23 flavours and puts a small readout on the front, which counts for more than it sounds like when the nearest shop is a long way off.

Will the CRWN Kit come back? No. The decision was CRWN’s rather than ours, so there is nothing left for us to reorder.

My Kit battery still works — is it worth keeping? For as long as you have pods that fit it. Nothing further is being made for that system, so plan on the next one being a one-piece device.

Do any of these four take pods? None of them. The Infinity is sealed and charges as a single unit; the Blaze, the Bar Pro and the One have nothing to open and nothing to plug in.
